Stereo har testet STAX’s nye model SR-009D og er begejstrede.
Hovedtelefonerne fremhæves for ”Überragend offener, detailreicher und luftiger Klang mit kräftigem, sauberem Bassbereich”.

“No matter what I threw at the STAX SR-009D, they were up for the challenge. DSD files had microscopic detail and nuance. Live jazz recordings were brought to life by the transparency and airiness, which provided breathing room for the instruments to stand out with life-like timbre and weight. There was a purity and crystalline quality to the presentation that never strayed into brittleness or dryness (even though it is said that electrostatic headphones lean towards dryness, due to how fast they are). Trailing tones lingered and never seemed to disappear too quickly.”
